Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the Coalition of Caring Planning Committee made the decision to go “virtual” for the 14th Annual Statewide Caregiver’s Conference.
Thanks to the work of the Coalition of Caring Planning Committee, this year’s conference will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 and will consist of three sessions held throughout the day.
During Session I - Keynote Speaker, Dr. William Brewster, will blend his personal caregiving experience with his professional experience as a physician to offer “lessons learned” and insights into the caregiving experience. “This is not them; this is us,” Bill tells people. “We’re all in this together.”
During Session II - “Write to Remember" Storyteller/Writer Rebecca Rule
will provide questions, exercises, and ideas for caregivers to tap into their own rich memories—sources of strength, comfort, and self-knowledge. We will write together in short, focused spurts of creativity and share our insights as time allows. Make sure you have pen and paper available to use during the presentation.
